He puts his own texts, coherent titles, expressed mainly in English.
A hymn to freedom!
In this Album, Asha D denounces the physical and psychological pressures we all face in today's world.
“THE PRESSURE” is a critical look at the problems of our society such as respect for our ancestors, our roots, our beliefs, an invitation to continue on our path by freeing ourselves from all oppression.
Asha D has chosen to work with Taïro (Fr) and Queen Omega (Tr) on two of the six tracks;
Taïro for a title in French, a fluid connection, a light theme that goes straight to the heart.
Queen Omega, with whom Asha D previously played as drummer during a European tour with his band, Artikal Band, this new feat. is a great way to enrich their musical connection.
Musicians: Ilon Ba on guitar, Matic Horn's “Buttons” on Trombone, Asha D producer, songwriter, lead vocal, drums, bass, keyboard, Marie-Annick Nsilulu and Ariane Nsilulu backing vocals.
Video productions: Doc Vegas, Sébastien Pucel, Artikal music, studio 411 in Montpellier.
In 2021, Asha D produces the Ep “Purpose” with Mark Cupidore (Tr) and “The Right Place” with Bobby Hustle (us), ranked in the reggae media charts in France, Holland and present on playlists in the United States (N.Y & L.A), note the same year, the release of the Single “There is a party” with the greats U Brown and Rod Taylor.
Asha D performs live with Artikal Band and Artikal Sound. He manages the recording studio
Artikal Dread, the Artikal Music label (2005) and its website selling instrumentals
www.riddiminstrumental.com, with his team in Montpellier. He collaborates and plays with many artists, Reggae, Soul, Gospel, from the national and international scene.
